A cathedral arch window painting with weathered stained glass in shades of rust, gold, brown and gray,

Shattered - Cathedral Arch Window Painting

At five feet tall, Shattered is a statement piece that commands attention. This cathedral window painting features a richly textured design, with faux bricks that add depth and dimension. The raised arch and sill enhance its architectural feel, making it look like a real, timeworn window.

The leaded glass sections shimmer in warm shades of rust, gold, brown, and gray, capturing the beauty of aged stained glass. The distressed, weathered finish gives Shattered an old-world charm, as if it were salvaged from a centuries-old cathedral, but with a modern twist.

Whether displayed in a living room, entryway, or dining area, this original artwork will serve as a stunning focal point. Its intricate details and handcrafted textures invite closer inspection, while its grand size makes a bold impact. Perfect for lovers of historic architecture and unique decor, Shattered bridges the past and present, blending artistic craftsmanship with a sense of nostalgia. No two pieces are alike, ensuring that this one-of-a-kind painting adds a distinctive, timeless touch to your home.

Mixed media artist, MK Long

As an artist, I find beauty in the imperfections inherent in the creative process. There's a certain excitement in the unpredictability of art-making, where each stroke of the brush or layering of different mediums brings forth a new challenge, a new emotion. I am at my happiest when I am immersed in this roller coaster journey, oscillating between confidence and uncertainty, knowing that in the end, it all converges into a harmonious whole.

As a mixed media artist, I am drawn to the tactile nature of art, where texture invites exploration and evokes a visceral response. I build each design by hand, incorporating richly textured elements that give depth and dimension, then bring the piece to life with acrylics and a modern rustic style. I enjoy the freedom of exploring various materials, blending colors in a balance that pleases the eye, and incorporating shimmer and shine to capture the light.

My artworks are a culmination of every creative technique I've learned throughout my life. I hope this journey to be my grand finale, a celebration of embracing imperfections, cherishing the process, and leaving behind a legacy of boundless creativity.
